Occlusodonty
Occlusodonty is a dental and stomatological specialty which studies the components of the mouth, whether teeth, muscles and joints. These explain many ailments such as migraines, bruxism which consists of grinding one's teeth and very often pressure in the joints of the jaw.
It aims to restore good function, or physiological function. reflex, in all elements of the masticatory apparatus, or mouth. These include good contact between the patient's teeth or dental occlusion, as well as asymptomatic reflex function of the muscles that move the jaws or the posture of the jaws under the effect of earth's gravity. Occlusodontology is a fundamental scienceamentale, a branch of occlusodontics.
Occlusodontology consists of adjusting or reconstructing the reflex contacts between the upper and lower opposing teeth. This adjustment is made while maintaining sufficient physiological rest time for the jaw muscles. Its therapeutic consequences concern all the symptomatology linked to the postural tonic balance of the individual through their cranial-madibulus-sacral system.
